What types of PDFs does Craftisto support? +
Craftisto is optimized for knitting and crochet pattern PDFs. The AI understands yarn weights, stitch types, needle sizes, and standard pattern formatting. PDFs can be up to 50MB and any number of pages.
How does the copyright cleanup work? +
GPT-4o scans your PDF for brand names, designer handles, social media links, YouTube URLs, and watermarks. These are removed from the rebuilt PDF. A disclaimer is added noting users are responsible for uploaded content.
What AI model generates the product images? +
We use Flux via the fal.ai API — significantly less restrictive than DALL-E for product photography. Flux generates 6 images from different angles based on your pattern content and reference photos.
Can I edit everything before downloading? +
Yes — the Preview screen lets you pick images, regenerate individual ones, and directly edit the title, description, and keywords. Nothing is final until you click Download.
How does payment work? +
